The Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation provides $65,000 in grants made to the Fraternity to support programs like Chapter Leaders Days, Leadership Conference, the Developing Leadership initaitive and service events. The Foundation's Lawrence D. Schaffer endowed scholarship program provides more than $285,000 to undergraduate and graduate students. Our Young Scholars initiative awards more than $75,000 in $500 awards Sigma Alpha Mu candidates that achieved a 3.75 or higher during their candidate term. Chapter Educational Fund grants provide more than $50,0000 to support chapter needs as the chapter level and Jewish Endeavor grants support chapter's seeking to promote Jewish life on their campus. In total, support of alumni and friends of Sigma Alpha Mu make more than $500,000 in scholarships, academic achievement awards and educational grants possible each year. We work to increase the amount funded every year with the goal of providing at least $800,000 by 2032.
